That’s a wild headline to break down, and one of the best announcements to come out of today’s Triple-I Initiative Showcase. Black Tabby Games, while currently working on Scarlet Hollow, is looking to take up a new role. Black Tabby Publishing looks to help other indie developers bring their work to fruition, and it already has its first client.
The creators behind 1000xRESIST revealed their follow-up title, Prove You’re Human, is being funded by Black Tabby’s publishing arm. That’s one heck of an exciting combination and the game looks astonishing. Watch the trailer below to get an idea of what to expect.
That totally cleared everything up, right? Luckily, the team was kind enough to describe the game in a little more detail:
Prove You’re Human splits the main character in two, and you drew the short straw. You’re the digital copy of a person who was paid to test a corporate product. But the product is convinced it’s as human as you are. Maybe even more.
Remy Siu, Founder of Sunset Visitor, comments further, saying, “In Prove You’re Human, we’re very intentionally weaving real-world footage into our virtual landscape. Vancouver is a well-known film town. We’re accessing that infrastructure, along with our long-time collaborators, to bring a sense of tactility to human forms in the game.”
This article is made possible by The Indie Informer’s generous Friend supporters who joined the site’s Patreon to ensure the team’s ability to bring the community more content. We couldn’t be more grateful for their help and, from our hearts, thank you all.
