Nintendo’s trend of announcing a showcase the day before it airs is going strong, and today’s indie-centric presentation was packed full of news. The show didn’t have the no-fluff, hectic energy of the Triple-I Initiative‘s but we got so many release dates to keep fans watching. I’ve collected the biggest news down below, but make sure to check out the this video if you want to watch the whole thing.

Little Kitty, Big City
I’m thrilled to have a launch date for this adorable adventure, but May 9? That date was already bursting at the seams with the likes of Animal Well, Crow Country, Cryptmaster, and more. It’s going to be a wild week, but I can squeeze out a little more time to catch this adorable adventure, which I’ve been keeping an eye out for since I first played it at Day of the Devs nearly two years ago.

Refind Self: The Personality Test Game
This thought-provoking indie hit PC back in November, but now Refind Self is ready to make its Switch debut. We didn’t quite get a release date — the trailer only explains the title will come to the platform sometime this summer as a timed console exclusive — but if you haven’t already picked it up, keep your eyes open in a couple of months.

Sticky Business
We’ve got a shadow drop! It’s no secret I’m a fan of this comforting job sim — you can read my impressions of the game when it first released to see exactly what adhered me to it. So, I’m happy to see it come to Nintendo’s platform. It’s the kind of game that will work great on a handheld device. Plus the Plan With Me DLC brings even more content to the title for anyone who needs some extra incentive.

ANTONBLAST
Changing the vibe slightly, Antonblast was announced for the Switch with a November 12 release date. But if You can’t wait that long, the eShop also has a free demo of the game available today.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
Somehow managing to be revealing and enigmatic, this puzzling indie title now has a set launch: May 16. It’s only a month away.

Europa
This one hits a little hard despite its tranquil beauty because indie fans could have been playing Europa today. The title hit a delay not to long ago pushing it out of April and even today’s lovely trailer didn’t provide a solid release date. That 2024 window isn’t all we have to hold on to as the game has a demo up on the Switch right now.

Cat Quest III
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Cat Quest III this month. The hand-drawn delight made an appearance in the Triple-I Initiative’s showcase. However, it’s earlier showing lacked an important detail: a date. But this time around we got the news fans were looking for. You can grab this high-seas adventure on August 8.

The Sizzle Reel
So many amazing games, and their exciting news, flew by near the end of the showcase. BZZZT is blasting onto Switch this Summer and Schim is releasing July 18. As I stated above, Animal Well is hitting in overloaded May 9, but Nintendo doesn’t want you to overlook it, and neither do we. Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is coming May 23 — mark your calendars! And, of course, the hotly anticipated Another Crab’s Treasure is set to launch later this month on April 25.
SteamWorld Heist 2
And landing that coveted “One More Thing” slot is the SteamWorld 2 reveal. The sequel got a compelling and eye-catching trailer that included plenty of gameplay and a look at a variety of systems. It even capped off the announcement with an August 8 launch date.
