As we slide further into October, the feel of these indies games seemingly… change. Like the leaves on the trees, this month’s titles are getting darker and dropping fast. And just when you think you’ve raked them all up, another pile appears. So, keep an eye on the schedule dates to avoid anything sneaking up on you:
The Indie Informer’s full indie release schedule.
October 27 – PC: “Go back to your hometown and tear it down with a sledgehammer in this narrative exploration game. Confront your past in a devastating story about feeling like you no longer belong in the place you grew up.”
October 29 – PC: “A slice-of-life adventure with a comedic-yet-bittersweet story set in a 2000s Japanese neighborhood! Play as 12-year-old Hoshino, revive a summer festival, reconnect with neighbors, and uncover truths about her grandma living with dementia.”
October 29 – PS, PC: “In this single-player narrative roguelite, govern a cursed island as you investigate your niece’s mysterious disappearance. Interrogate, trade, upgrade, and embark upon card-based expeditions to uncover dark secrets – before the next cataclysm strikes.”
October 29 – Switch, PC: “Join Tom, the village’s new postgirl, and get to know the locals, perhaps a little too well. Her method, although controversial, is highly effective: intense, obsessive stalking.”
