When September Ends
Honestly, I don’t even remember it becoming September, so my mind is resisting the idea that the month is coming to a close. Some of the blame for that is the fever dream of indie releases we’ve had these past few weeks, including one of the best games of 2026, Well Dweller. However, despite my brain’s protests, we are leaving summer and entering the spooky season. Before our bag of treats is filled with horrible delights, make sure you’ve caught everything September had to offer.

Order Automatica
A dark tactical roguelite where positioning, synergies, and automated battles collide on a tiny 3×3 ritual grid. Like chess with demons.
Songs of Glimmerwick
Become immersed in a musical woodland fantasy world where casting a spell is as easy as playing a song. Attend classes, grow the university garden, make friends with classmates and townsfolk, and explore the island’s many oddities and mysteries in this story-driven witch academy RPG.

Cat Me If You Can
Cat Me If You Can is a charming and cozy game where you explore beautifully handcrafted black-and-white worlds, searching for hidden cats to photograph and bring their colours back into the world.
MONOWAVE
MONOWAVE is a puzzle adventure through colorful worlds powered by four emotions. Alone or with a friend, express your feelings through song, empathize with your spirit friends, and solve puzzles to find your way forward.

Little Ghost
Chill metroidvania maximizes non-linear exploration & puzzle-platforming. Frequent checkpoints, no currency, no combat. Gain friends & abilities. Collectables-as-media; tarot cards, weird podcasts, and songs from over 20 bands; all found within a surreal papercraft world.
Magical Blush
Magical Blush is a top-down action-adventure where fast-paced elemental combat meets Metroidvania-style exploration. Chain spell combos, exploit elemental weaknesses, rescue survivors, and battle the powerful Elemental Lords as you explore the wondrous world of Wyn.

Dressmaker
Become a dressmaker! Choose fabric, cut out patterns, and sew them all together to satisfy (or sabotage!) townsfolk in this cozy crafting game inspired by real dressmaking.
