This year brings some changes to Six One Indie’s top-tier showcase. Getting the hard stuff out of the way first, it’s Mike Towndrow’s last appearance, and that son of a batch of cookies (love you) made me cry with his heartfelt goodbye. Additionally, the team is only tackling one major showcase this year. So, they’ve made it a big one with a meaningful 61 indies that demand attention. You should see them all because there’s not one misstep among them.
Everything shown in today’s presentation is included in a specially themed Steam event, and the Six One Indie website is hosting a plethora of written previews — you may even see one from yours truly — and bonus content to help celebrate all the participants. From all of these, I’ve pulled my highlights of the show to whet your appetite.
