Whitethorn Game’s annual Winter Showcase aired today, laying out a roadmap of upcoming releases and surprises for the indie publisher. If you didn’t catch the event live, here’s a handy recap of everything announced.
Calico Gets Neat Things DLC Today
Calico, the quirky cat-centric cafe and life sim, is getting a new content update today. Dubbed Neat Things, players can cuddle with new critters, meet a fresh cast of characters, and engage in new quests minigames on PC and Switch. Neat Things is available for $4.99, and you can also grab the new Calico Complete Bundle that includes the base game and this DLC.
Spray Paint Simulator Demo
Spray Paint Simulator receives a new, expanded demo ahead of its launch later this year. This updated version, titled Free Spray Mode, features no time limit, allowing players to paint houses, cars, and anything else in need of color to their heart’s content. Spray Paint Simulator’s Free Spray Mode hits Steam on February 13.
Kernel Hearts Character Reveal
Kernel Hearts is an intriguing roguelike action RPG where players battle up the Tower of Babel, slaying angels and other celestial beings along the way. Developer Ephemera Games revealed two new allies players can control. First up is Mikolaj, a mysterious Polish soldier, and Fang, a magical girl and one of the few remaining of her kind. There’s still no release window for Kernal Hearts, but it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Three Whitethorn Titles Are Coming To PlayStation
The showcase concluded with the reveal that three Whitethorn-published games are launching on PlayStation. 2024’s Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island and Magical Delicacy make the jump sometime this year. The upcoming Slime Heroes, which will launch next week on February 13 for Xbox, Switch, and PC, is “coming soon” to Sony’s platforms, presumably post-launch.
