The comforting rythyms of farm life, adorable livestock, gotta-catch-em-all-style collecting, and fun NPCs will keep your overworked brain distracted and happy while the hours pass in a snap.
Crypt Custodian
Sure it’s about death — something you might be feeling like right now — but this cat-led romp through the afterlife will keep you surviving through the day. The narrative is not so heavy that it’s hard to follow but not so shallow that there’s nothing pushing you on. Its combat is straightforward enough for even the most bed-ridden. And the ever-expanding map reveals fresh sights and creative puzzles at every turn.
Flock
With no real stress and a beautiful world to roam, this creature collecting title offers sick players a delightful distraction. Its gameplay has objectives, though it’s easy to set those aside and just soar over a stylized landscape with a growing squad of whimsical flying friends. No obstacles here, just good vibes.
The Garden Path
I’m sensing an unintended cozy theme with these last entries. Maybe it’s my brain looking to serve up some chicken soup for the soul, and you wouldn’t be amiss taking a second serving of The Garden Path. Its beautiful visuals and mysterious world can both soothe and ensnare, making those hours fly by.

There is no better combination of low-level effort and time-passing fun than this. All you have to do is hit one button which decides whether you get one more card. Its rogue-like nature keeps plays in its loop which makes it dangerous for productivity but perfect for long days stuck in bed. Can you defeat the ultimate Blackjack player and claim a win?
