Celebrate Volvy’s B-Day With Devolver Digital’s SGF Event
While the stage is set for Geoff Keighley’s big summer showcase, other entities are gathering in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks to put on their own presentations. Of course, the deluge of June gaming announcements would not be the same without Devolver Digital’s memorable brand of corporate advertising. We’ve all been invited to watch the 2024 Devolver Direct which is dedicated to celebrating everyone’s favorite publisher mascot Volvy. I’m sure nothing weird will happen when the event goes live on June 7 at 5 PM Pacific.
Cocoon Physical And Collector’s Edition Available For Preorder From iam8bit
Here’s your chance to hold one of the wildest, world-bending games of 2023 in your hands. Partnering with iam8bit, Geometric Interactive and Annapurna Interactive are releasing physical versions of Cocoon on PlayStation 5 and Switch. The standard edition includes a set of art cards and is available for $29.99, with the option of a Collector’s Edition featuring a 3″ crystal orb light, the previously mentioned art cards, an alternate box art, and a poster for $74.99. Those who also want a copy of the vinyl soundtrack can spin those tunes at home for $32.99. Preorders for all three items are available now at iam8bit’s site.

Strange Horticulture Devs Unveil Next Game, Strange Antiquities
Following the success of its 2022 puzzler Strange Horticulture, the developers at Bad Viking have unveiled their next project. Strange Antiquities will take place three years after the previous game in the town of Undermere, where you’ll take on the role of a Thaumaturge’s apprentice and help run a shop filled to the brim with occult items.
